  The only thing I could eat eas the fried okra. I ordered the hamburger steak. It was burnt. So dry and overcooked, no way I could eat it. My husband ordered the meatloaf. It tasted like it had a lot of fillers in it. Didn't taste like it had any meat in it. Very dissatisfied

  I must prefix this experience with: I am not from the area nor have I ever visited Church Hill before this. Stopped here, noticed food was incredibly cheap. Decided to order a 'philly cheesesteak'. I knew this wasn't going to be Primanti Bros(Pittsburgh), but I at least expected something edible. The 'meat' seemed to be some sort of pounded cardboard fried with potted meat. I honestly don't know what it was. One bite was enough to understand the price. That's unfortunately not all I ordered. I ordered a club as well. What I received was a sandwich with tomatoes, lettuce, and a variety of 'deli' meat that was absolutely unflavored. Like I said at the beginning, this might be what people around there prefer. However, for an outsider it was a pretty terrible dining experience. Who knows.
